See a complete list of tasks

Ann Hartter
This was a feature before when typing /list in slack and all tasks that I added in a day were compiled with all the tasks in previous days. This means I could add tasks and see them all and prioritize as I go, as opposed to having to leave slack to manage my workload. I'd really like this feature back.

Hi @Ann Hartter you can list the tasks in a channel by typing "/todo list" Is this what you are referring to?

@William: Thanks for replying, sorry I'm slow to respond
No, in the Workast channel it says I have no tasks in that channel. But I do have tasks in other channels. I used to be able to type in /list and get all open tasks across all channels in slack in one place (the Workast channel).
Though I am grateful to know this works in an individual channel, I work many clients and move a massive number of documents with different rules and regulations per document. I run a separate channel for each job for prudent file management and style upkeep. It is not reasonable to go through 104 channels to check for tasks.
It seems this feature was taken out relatively recently.

@Ann Hartter: thanks for the details. We actually never had a /list command, we always have /todo and /mytodo
To easily see all your tasks across all your channels you can log into our web application.
Feel free to reach out to support@workast.com if you are having trouble with any of this.

@William:
Well I wish I hadn't been deleting all of my past activity in my Workast channel because I know that I often updated my complete todo list (in my Workast channe)l becuase my boss is in Hawaii so my morning list would auto-populate from the day before, and then when she logged in I would add 5-10 more tasks and then get the entire list again so I could prioritize. I have been using Workast for a couple years and I assure you, I did not make it up.
Regardless of whether it was some secret feature or some glitch that happened to work swimmingly, I'd like it to be a feature, again or for the first time.
